We live in a noisy world, but perhaps the loudest sound you listen to is the voice inside your head. The way you speak to yourself will propel you forward or hold you back. Unfortunately, many people have an internal narrative that is a constant reel of self-attack. 

You become what you say. Your words impact you on a physiological level. Self-descriptions can set into motion muscular, hormonal, intestinal, and chemical expressions that match the labels you give yourself. If what you're telling yourself subverts who you're working to become, you'll stay stuck. 

Why are you so cruel to yourself? There are different ways that we can understand self-attacks.
